Casino Velden
Casino Velden, housed in the historic Schloss Velden, is one of Austria's most elegant casinos. Alongside roulette, blackjack and slot machines, the casino regularly hosts events, dinner shows and concerts. The terrace with lake views is a highlight on summer evenings.
The castle also gained fame as the filming location for the Austrian TV series 'Ein Schloss am Wörthersee'. Dress code: Smart Casual. Evening wear recommended.
The promenade
Velden's lakeside promenade stretches along the western shore and offers a picturesque walk with views of the turquoise lake and surrounding mountains. Along the promenade you'll find exclusive boutiques, ice cream parlours and cafés.
In summer, regular events are held here, including the Velden Beach Volleyball Tournament and open-air concerts.
